I’m very pleased to announce that after nearly six months of hard work, my novella EPIC FANTASY 0.9b is finished.

You may have noticed a link at the top of the page that contains more information about the book, although those that have been following this blog should already know quite a bit, since I had been posting chapters here as I went along. For the rest of you, the book is essentially a bildungsroman, which takes place in a fantasy world with a sci-fi twist. My goal while writing it was to make a fast-paced, tight, heart-wrenching and above all funny adventure story, while sending up some well-known fantasy cliches in the process.

So, if you’ve seen chapters 1-5 already, what’s new in the eBook edition? Everything! In addition to the final four chapters of the story, as well as a completely awesome map by T.J. Vandel, the rest of the book has been completely revised and copy-edited. I also updated my posts of chapters 1 and 2 on this blog with the newly revised text.

So, where do I, personally, go from here? Well, there is more EPIC FANTASY-related work to do, namely getting the book into more stores (Nook, iTunes, etc.) as well as the endless cycle of promotion. In terms of new material, there is likely to be somewhat of a lull as I focus more on revising the next draft of my novel. But after that’s done…well, you tell me.
